Cutest thing ever. I’ve often heard that there is something extra special about hugs from a daughter, even when the daughter is grown with children of her own, and after seeing today’s strip, I believe it! :)
A little known fact is that Lynn Johnston’s daughter, Kate, on whom Elizabeth was based, did plan to become a dentist and went through 4 years of school in pursuit of that profession before changing her mind about her choice of career. Very likely, we are seeing a reflection of her early ambition in today’s comic strip.
