What Trump acolytes and fawners work hard at ignoring is that very few of the rulings by the Ninth Circuit Court (or any other court) are ever appealed. Of those cases which are appealed, very few are accepted by the Supreme Court for review. Of those very, very few case from the Ninth Circuit Court which were accepted by the Supreme Court, about 80 percent were overturned.
The total number of Ninth Circuit Court cases which were overturned is less that 1% of the total number of cases heard by that court.

Trump’s EO was half baked idiocy, written by Bannon & Miller, who have long been calling for a a war against Islam. If Trump were a good manager, he would have listened to his experienced DHS team, who wanted clarification on green card holders & people with existing visa, such as the students that Washington State sued over.
Obama & Congress put limits on people who had passed through those countries back in 2011, because those countries are known to be places where International terrorists have been trained. They knew better than to focus simply on the citizens of those countries because not that many terrorists were originally from those countries.
BTW, I suspect most of the liberals here have read up on Bannon’s past statements about the necessity of an existential war with Islam than some conservatives. Bannon & Miller sincerely believe we need to fight a World War against Islamic extremism & seem to have no compunction about being the ones to start it.
