Yet another warm the rubes…er public up for war propaganda piece? Conservatives gonna and straighten out Iran the same way USA! USA! USA! fixed Iraq, Vietnam, or Korea? Hell, overwhelming military strength can’t even ‘fix’ a Somalia or Yemen. As soon as U.S. troops leave chaos erupts- and we can’t stay forever. When our brave all-volunteer warriors fight, it has to be real- we ain’t the world’s police force.
Iran probably will continue to thumb their nose at America, same as we, or any other sovereign nation has a right to do. Persian society is traditionally sophisticated and educated on par with advanced European cultures. Their theocracy doesn’t figure to last more than a generation (Persians have never been particularly devout, any more than we are). Iran is at war with ISIS, and they contribute more troops, equipment and propaganda in that fight than we do.
btw Mr.Trump starting a war to cover his gross incompetence just might work- for him. Hows about Mexico or Australia? USA! USA! USA!
So Trump thinks that America is supposed to tell the rest of the world who can and cannot protect themselves?!We’re not Israel, Donnie. Even the South Africans had to come to grips with the reality of apartheid. They’re lucky it didn’t end up like Zimbabwe.
