Putting America first only works in the short run. There is more sustained economic growth when the wealth is shared.
Actually, the TPP was the plan to rein in China. By bringing together all the OTHER countries as trading partners — the way the European Union became a major power — that would be a massive counter to China’s outsize influence in the region.
Oops.
If we aren’t working for our own and others benefit someone will damage than and create a schism that ultimately will wreck us all.
