The people won’t like it if they repeal the ACA and don’t replace it with something at least as good.

But they’ll SAY it’s just as good. Even if it’s just a different flavor of health care account.

I like the second panel. Whatever happened to those basic concepts?Oh, wait. Now everyone expects something for nothing. What could go wrong with that?

Remember when the median family got a fair share of the increasing productivity?

Why should the Republicans replace health insurance, I’m sure the free market that they tilt to favor corporations will come up with a fair answer. If you think the Republicans have any idea what to replace it with, you haven’t been paying attention to what kind of nonsense these dingbats come up with. Maybe they can repeal Obamacare and replace it with repealing ethics, that why they won’t have to feel bad about their death panels. Don’t worry everyone, the congress will still have their platinum status healthcare, so while you pride yourself on taking healthcare from the poor, the rich will make even more off of the health care system. We are almost to the Conservative utopia of using the poor for fuel.

Or, the poor can just pay the full amount and then have their accountants take the deduction on next year’s taxes.

I completely agree. If Congress had to have the same health plan as the public Obamacare would never have been passed (by the Democrats) in the first place.

The problems with medical costs are almost 100% the fault of the government getting involved in healthcare and corrupting the free market.

There are a few rough outlines of what the Republicans want to do to replace the ACA. Mostly it’s tax credits & letting insurers refuse coverage, as well as removing most of the protections for pre-existing conditions.

The tax credits they propose will not be income based, so it’s another giveaway to the people who don’t need the help. The credits will not cover the cost by a long shot. Between that & the desire to cut back Medicaid expansion & give states block grants, means millions will lose coverage. The ones who keep coverage might pay a little less, but will have plans that may be useless.

See my comment above about tax deductions; or, republicans’ answer to everything: Vouchers!

Health is not a right. You have to work all of your life to have it taken away from you.
