What grade did Calvin get again on the joint project on the planet Mercury with Susie? A “D minus” or something?

I find it troubling that the children were expected to give up their recess to work on a school project. Doesn’t seem right to me.

Anyone would think they deserve an A for what they would have done if it weren’t for the fact that the deck was stacked against them. Whether they’re right determins whether the deck should have been stacked against them.

It somehow feels as though Phoebe failed to learn the appropriate lesson here.

Give yourself some credit, Phoebe. As if those kinds of projects are a walk in the park.

“I didn’t get to do ANY of it” Well….that was 100% her choice.

At least she feels kind of guilty for it.

If it was me I would fess up and tell my teacher I didn’t do any work.

I hope that this story arc isn’t over yet so Phoebe can finish learning her lesson. But I won’t be surprised if this is the end of this story arc never to be mentioned again.
