I can understand the Trump loyalists’ opposition to Romney, but there’s got to be someone better than Giuliani.

Giuliani thinks our relations with Russia are strained because Obama wasn’t willing to threaten to use military force. Besides being inaccurate (Obama bolstered NATO presence in Eastern Europe), it’s a ridiculous & dangerous notion to think Putin will be easily cowed. Giuliani claims Russia isn’t a “military competitor”. They don’t have our ability to assert themselves on a large scale around the world, but in their immediate neighborhood they are more than formidable. And, they still have a large & capable nuclear threat.

If Trump wants a coherent reputable Secretary of State then definitely Romney. As far as Giuliani goes he’s just plain crackers pretty much like the President Elect

So far, Romney’s the closest thing to a responsible adult Trump has considered for an important position. What a world. Romney.

Has Giuliani ever displayed any expertise in international relations other than railing against Islamic terrorism?
