Though I did end up going to a “Black Friday” sale…..

at a nearby thrift shop, of all places.

I walked there, and spent about $3…..

and saved $2, Whoopie.

As for my mortality…..

I guess it’s gaining on me now.

Shopping-no. Sopping-yes, leftovers with gravy!

Since moving to Northern Idaho, I keep saying when it’s my time to go, I want to go on the last day of summer so I don’t have to go through another winter.

Stan is, as always, glad to help!

Most things aren’t dying for winter, the trees and animals are going dormant. The rest continue through it hunting for food hidden by the snow.

Went to the grocery store today and bought ingredients so I can start baking cookies next weekend. Went to Costco for my Saturday hotdog. Quieter in there than usual. Picked up some discarded greenery at Home Depot. Got most of the outside decorating done (except with the greenery). Will finish tomorrow after church.
