I was amused to learn airlines have expressly listed the Samsung 7 as a fire hazard and therefore banned from being brought on-board their aircraft.

I have not paid much attention to this. From the very little I know there have been millions of these phones sold and 5 or 7 have been defective?

And they are putting fire containment bags on board aircraft to toss burning phones into.

Put the phone down carefully and slowly back away…

re: omQ R and derdave 969 -It puzzles me. They ban the phones from the planes and then they put fireproof bags on the planes to put the phones in. If the phones are banned from the planes why would they need the bags?-The only reason I can come up with, is that they think that almost anything can get by the TSA.-Next question. If almost anything can get past the TSA why do we need the TSA?
