Deep thought, almost anything in life can fit that description of accomplishing something without really accomplishing something important.

We enjoy crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. Relaxing and mind-stretching.

I like Ben, and his grandson, but the only likeable woman in this strip is the daughter. Gosh those old broads (Opal and her sister) are a cautionary tale of what NOT to become as a woman, or to stay married to as a spouse.

Oh gosh, I meant Earl. Tells you how old I am reading all the old folk comics!!!
