For the second straight day, we realize Calvin is terrible at sports. First lacrosse, now football.

I would say that there’s no shame in losing to the Tigers, but this is not baseball.

Is this football or “Keep away”?

It’s a hard thing to reach the aim!!

Calvin, you’re a lightweight. That’s the problem, you’re not heavy or tall enough yet. But, little dude, who can’t take down a stuffed tiger?

Poor Calvin. He should have known he wouldn’t be able to beat Hobbes knowing that he pounces at him and severely bruises him on many occasions.

Was this the germ of the idea that became Calvinball?

Actually, Calvin knows everything there is to know about sports; take it away, Calvin:“Yeah, you gotta get the ball into the Home Plate Basket before you get tackled by the Shortstop! Otherwise, the Umpire has to send you into the Penalty Box!”(LOL!)

I don’t play football but I see them tackling the parts that touch the ground, not the middle parts. might try that Calvin.
