Exactly inconsiderate. Most people think they’re too important do that themselves.

At least I might see it and not step in it that way.

If it happens at the beginning of our walk, I’ll do that and then pick it up on my return.

exactly Cokiefan. if there are no trash cans within the next quarter mile, I might also leave it behind if I am coming back the same way. The problem is it has to be left in a conspicuous spot or I’ll forget to pick it up on the return trip.

That’s so weird! You did the hard part by putting it in the bag: how much more effort does it take to find a trash can??

I was thinking about this just this weekend. What’s idiotic to me it that, unbagged, the contents are at least biodegradable, and if it’s out of the way it’ll be returned to the ecosystem soon. But if you put it in a plastic baggie and toss it in the high grass, the baggie (and the contents) are still going to be there for years.

We have bag dispensers around my neighborhood and I’ve seen that a few times. WTF!

Today’s Comic Strip of the Day blog at http://www.weeklystorybook.com/comic_strip_of_the_daycom/2016/08/monday-short-takes.html discusses this. It seems that if you don’t notice it or get distracted and go back a different way, you forget it. I can’t believe anyone goes to the trouble of bagging it without intending to pick it up later. That makes no sense.

I guess it’s okay if they put their bagged poop in my garbage can, but it’s not okay when they put it in my compost!

Another point of view: Often when I’m jogging multiple laps around the block with my dog, if she ‘does her business’ in someone else’s yard, I bag it up and carry it away. Then, I toss it in my own yard when we pass. A few laps later when the run is over, I pick it up and throw it away. I don’t know that anyone can gripe about tossing dog waste into their own yard.
