The Secret Service tweeted tersely that they are aware of the comment. And I don’t think trump gets on his knees for anything, not even to pray to himself.
Now that he has threatened the other candidate with violence, made up a reason to wimp out of the debate and cried about the election (that hasn’t happened yet) being rigged. The real Trump supporters cling to him like a guy in a white sheet clings to his burning cross. Do you think if he shot Obama, Jodie Foster would be impressed?
As vile and despicable as Mr. Trump surely is, I do not believe he was, in his own mind, calling for the assassination of Mrs. Clinton. Obama because of the assassination of Sen. Kennedy immediately after he won the CA primary in 1968? THAT I interpreted as a call for the murder of an opponent.
