Protest Zone Outside The GOP Convention. People protest from Black Lives Matter, or protest to fight climate change. Meanwhile, a republican holds up a sign that reads "Want My Party Back."
LDover: my maternal grandfather grew up on the res in Oklahoma, and his best friend was Will Rogers. My mom later denied having any “Indian blood”, until she was 94 years old, and she was an arch Republican for her adult life. I count her rejection of Cherokee blood, and acceptance of such as “Tail Gunner Joe McCarthy” as part of her dementia that started early.
Alas even George W. Bush thinks that he may be the last Republican to serve as President. The GOP has gotten so off the rails they’re going the way of the Whig Party. Hopefully the more sensible moderates will come up with a new party that’s welcoming of all people regardless of religion, race or creed.

Sadly the GOP spent nearly the last 40+ years building the machine Trump hijacked because they knew not what they were doing!

Gun sense, climate change, ending racism, LGBT rights, choice and BLM are things the GOP would protest.
