I’m going to hijack this thread in light of the attack that <a href"http://www.france24.com/en/20160714-vehicle-ploughs-crowd-french-city-nice-possible-attack">happened in France. So far, it looks like it was a French national of Tunisian descent. This goes along with my belief that we can’t protect ourselves by building walls or barring Muslims from entering the country. The San Bernadino & Orlando attacks weren’t carried out by refugees. None of the attacks in Europe were carried out by refugees.Pay attention to that fact.We aren’t at war with another nation. We are contesting a political ideology that wraps itself in religious trappings. They are no better or worse than the Irish Republican Army groups that exploited Catholic ideology to further their means. What they share in common is the notion that the ends justify the means. As despicable as these acts are, we shouldn’t fall into their trap. The ends do not justify the means. Lashing out against rational, reasonable Muslims who understand the Constitution treats all religions the same is exactly what the extremists want. There is a real danger of Muslims who are already here, staging an attack. There is also real danger of people who are angry for other reasons, staging an attack. It’s not about religion. It’s about when people think murder is an acceptable way to achieve their goals.
And, just to really punk Ted, everyone who thinks Jill Stein is prepared to confront the global terror crime syndicate, give me a “whoot-whoot”.Same for Gary (Yawn) Johnson.
It’s not about whether or nor Dr Stein is prepared to send out the drones. She hasn’t got any chance of winning. It’s about breaking The Money Party’s stranglehold on federal political power in this country. If I thought Drumpf had any chance of winning and I lived in a “battleground” state, I would vote for Countin’ Clinton (Shudder!) in a heartbeat. I live in NY. The Dems could run me and take NY. I’m going to vote for Dr Stein or write in Mr Sanders. Drumpf would be an absolute disaster for most people in this country and possibly for the world. Countin’ Clinton, like BamBam, will throw a few bones to the working and middle class dogs (rather than kick us, as the Rethugs like to do) and go on to perpetuate the system that mostly exists so that the rich and powerful can accumulate more wealth and consolidate more power.
-Well, they returned you to me. I’m so grateful. So grateful! I cut tonight’s party meeting.-Oh, well, well! Thank you for putting me above history. Now that Sanders has endorsed Clinton, it is time for the run up to the White House.
One can only wonder what the world would be like, if we’d limited our military response to 9/11 to driving Al Qaeda out of Afghanistan. For that matter, would 9/11 have happened if we didn’t keep our bases in Saudi Arabia after Gulf War I.
“No (some) Drug War since 1914 …” . There’s a lot more money to be made running prisons than there is in running clinics. In large part, The War On Drugs is about control (especially when it comes to marijuana) much more than it is about public safety.

Wow. He did what he said he would do the night of the NH Primary. So … the surprise is honesty??
