Red and Rover know how to handle a hotsy-totsy, solar sizzling, July-cookout type of day!

I wonder if this is a reference to Steve Poole on KOMO-4 in Seattle.

Red sounds infinitely more intelligent (heck, for that matter so does Rover) than the “meteorologists” around here. I put it in quotes because they “precious speak”: “Weather to our south”…OUR south? How do I know to whom you’re speaking so I can orient myself correctly? “That storm is coming in from the north and west…” Is that a grammatical error and it should be “those storms”, or are you saying that a single storm is coming in simultaneously from two directions? Or is that your shopping-channel speech pattern attempting to say “northwest”? Wait,,,I know…it’s “C”…you’re an idiot!

I once heard/saw a New female “Meteorologist in Hawaii say: Trade Winds are out of the South at xx mph” Trade winds are ONLY Northeasterly. Period. No such things as “Trade” winds out of any other direction. I emailed her a correction. She was actually born and raised in Hawaii. Duh!!!

Almost all meteorologists are just making an educated guess and then giving their opinion. Just like doctors……………………
