Enter the reptile boy or the snake woman in the old side-show attractions..Sometimes the gene switches and humans grow scales — perhaps even feathers..Presumably some reptiles are hatched with hair but don’t last long.

Night-Gaunt has it right. Your distant ancestors were cynodonts. Birds are archosaurs, and are derived from theropods. Note that crocodiles are also archosaurs.

There is recent evidence that the dinosaurs were both warm blooded and feathered rather than cold blooded and scaled like reptiles.

I have to admire the faith of the atheist/evolutionist, because it takes a lot more faith to believe that all this happened by accident, as opposed to being created

I’d f been willing to wrap masking tape around my hand, sticky side out, and help Janis remove the cat hair from her top.

being a trained scientist ( degrees in Physics), I have no difficulty reconciling my religious beliefs with my scientific ones. Not being a Fundamentalist, I can accept that the order that physical laws establish for the universe can be a mechanism put in place by a higher power. There’s lots of room within the so-called “laws of probability” for things to be tweaked one way or ’tother.
