I wonder if they’ve been dyed like that for the stage.

The title “Grass” sounds almost like “Grease.”

♪ Grass is the word… ♪

Maybe they were smoking the “grass”.

At camp, all unicorns were white, but at that play, they are all different colors. I’m beginning to believe the dye theory.

In my youth we also had someone who wrote lyrics that fitted the songs but were often very obscure. He was called Jon Anderson…

No mention of crabgrass in the song, or is that in the second verse?

The unicorns tried doing a musical adapted from Walt Whitman’s “Leaves of Grass.” It closed after one performance.

Hmmm…I recognize Luna, Big Mac, and maybe Blueblood on that stage.

Now that’s a horse unicorn of a different color.

One of the unicorns has a saddle even though Phoebe rides bare back.

Story may often be treated as secondary in a musical Marigold, but in my experience, the best musicals are the ones that have good stories to back up the music as well.

I wonder what the unicorn version of Broadway is. I image Grass is like the Cats or Hamilton of the unicorn world
