i think you will find a good number of those shootings were NOT with “assault” weapons, but hand guns. so you are proposing banning ALL fire arms? is barry really saying that?

maybe it would be more efficacious to concentrate on the person killing than with a few thousand words to describe a weapon’s appearance.

Guns are so popular with most Americans (at least where I live) that I am surprised a new religion doesn’t spring up, though I admit most Christians never appear to see the irony in their strong love of Jesus combined with their strong support for being armed all the time (best way to love thy neighbor is to keep them in your crosshairs) Somebody could find some tablets in the desert (sound familiar?) or more appropriate for our times a land fill and the new supreme being 50 CAL after his alpha omega like introduction will give only one edict, Though shalt have the right to conceal carry and fully automatic fire forevermore ….

That is why this nation was structured on the basis of checks and balances. The attempted coup by the Republican Congress is primarily targeting this structure and replacing it with a junta of the military/industrial complex.
