I remember a day when I was 16 years old and school was shut down because of a major snow storm

Went to work with Dad at his tire shop and spend the day putting studs in snow tires

By the end of the day my arm was sore and my hand was blistered

Actually, I remember my Dad putting CHAINS on the tires when I was a kid (late 50s, early 60s).

They talk about studded tires as if people don’t still use them.

All weather tires are not made for snow. You have to buy snow tires for that.
