Mushy peas are disgusting..When i lived in Cardiff the local chippy deep fried his pies…… tried it once but never again. These days I prefer to make my own pies so that I know what’s in them.
I love fresh or frozen peas, especially with pearl onions. Hate beyond description canned [tinned] peas.Is it true that mushy peas are often referred to as “Yorkshire caviar”?

Are there ANY Brits who dislike mushy peas (burnt or not burnt)? I’m not a Brit, but I’ve never had mushy peas (just peas).

Peas, yuck! I’ll eat most veggies except peas-not one pea passes these lips. The only way I would ingest peas is pictured in today’s “Close To Home.”
