A friend of mine made a time lapse photos-to-video of his yard during the spring thaw. Since it is a video, it is quick to watch and lots of fun to see the snow recede. Time lapse of the flowers opening would be a lot more interesting.
If they were doing home improvements they could watch paint dry!
