I’m guessing that the person in the rat costume is not Echo.

@Michael T I. Think you guessed right. She probably was so stressed out she couldn’t go to work (or quit).However, I hope she does forgive him as even an idiot needs to find some happiness plus she has more sense and can look after him. I like her character more than Wendy.

Worst-case scenario: Wendy’s in the rat suit.

Did the person not hear Norman call her Echo?

Obviously it’s not Echo in that costume.

Even if it’s not Echo he’s just made someone’s day, he can feel good about that.

I’m going out of the group and putting my money on Echo being in the rat suit, and all will be forgiven. Of course, there’s still the possibility that this is all a dream, a-la Newheart. (and you thought I was going to use the Who Shot J.R.? steal…)

Echo will either walk by the window of the shop or come in for work. Either way, she’s not in that suit.

It’s probably not Echo in the mouse costume, knowing his luck.

Of course it IS Echo in the rat costume, He says Echo before he starts talking, so the person in the rat suit knows who he means. The person in the rat suit is reacting very favorable. If it was anyone else in the suit they would correct Norman and say they were not Echo.
