Katy: You're tough to buy Father's Day gifts for. Adam: I am? Katy: Yeah. You work at home, so ties are out. You have every kind of coffee and coffee mug known to man. You don't wear cologne...or collect anything. And you don't need another fingernail clipper set. Adam: I have six in my drawer. Katy: I'm kind of stumped. So, how about a nice card, and I don't tell mom about your midday ice cream binges? Adam: Parties. I call them ice cream parties.

My dad’s birthday was January 2nd. Hard enough to buy him a Christmas gift without turning around and having to figure out a birthday present, too! How many bottles of wine and pairs of socks can you give a man who didn’t smoke or wear neckties?

Never figured out how Mothers’ Day is jewelry and expensive perfume while Fathers’ Day is socks and underwear.
