I can do most things quite well. I learnt by my family having not a lot of money when I was young (both parents ill for 4 – 5 years) and joining the military when I was 16. Hard to find young people with the same skills now.
Most kids today would be bugging their dad for something they want and they wouldn’t notice the mess because they would be busy texting with their friends. Nice thought though.
John was probably wearing those foam ear plugs which pistol shooters wear; the type you roll up, put in your ear canal then it expands to its former shape.

My dad got me started in woodworking when I was a young teenager. Now I have the whole shop to prove it!
