And if it's that gross, doesn't that mean it's also depositing filth all over the place? And over time, that means that virtually everything is dirtier than a toilet seat. Sow what difference does it make how dirty your phone is? At least you own one clean thing.

I brush my teeth in the kitchen. The bathroom should be for cleaning the dirt off things you put in your mouth, not depositing it.

There is a lid on the toilet for a reason. Close it before you flush and you will not have all that bacteria aerosol all over the room. Keeps it much cleaner.
