These two were made for each other. Well, except that he’s already a burnout.

Wrong end of the Death business. Should have gone into Health Care, and you’d be comfortably retired by now.

I LOVE Bloom County, and especially loved it back in the day when it was relevant. Wish there was a way to put the original published date on the articles we’re reading today.

“But I did not, I repeat, NOT, invent the leaf blower or the phone menu. Doesn’t that deserve some consideration?”

How timely can you get with the streaming documentary about Hugh Hefner’s abuse of women airing now? I actually sat next to Christine Hefner at the mansion when she hosted the board of the National Run Away Hotline on which I served way back when. She was a very skilled host. While Playboy magazine was the embodiment of suppression of women, it did run some very credible articles on public issues including one by the late Asa Baber on “condomania” in which I was quoted. But overall, the world would have been better off if Playboy never existed.

    Opus, you hound dog!

Poor guy has a guilty conscience, but I’m guessing he wasn’t all bad, just misunderstood. At least he doesn’t recognize Christie!
