Ted Cruz holds a sign that reads "Unbound delegates, please help!" Donald Trump passes him after winning the New York primary. Trump: Get a vote, loser!
Trump is making inroads with the Republican Party, trying to curry favor with elected party leaders at the RNC in Florida where they are holding talks for the Contention. If the convention is contested there will be a series of sequential votes and additional bound delegates would become unbound with each cycle until one candidate gets a majority for the nomination. So Trump’s representatives are doing outreach with RNC members who have bristled at the billionaire’s repeated attacks on Chairman Pribus and his complaints that the system of awarding delegates is corrupt. The Kochs, unhappy with a potential Trump nomination, have indicated tehy will focus on congressional races in order to preserve Republican majorities in the US House and Senate. They will spend over $400 million through their groups Americans for Prosperity, Concerned Veterans for America and Libre.

Trump is feeling GOP voter suppresion. Who cares what the voters think? Those that make the rules usually win.
