It’s amazing how conservatives can ignore literally all of the real data in the world (March 2016 was the hottest March ever. February 2016 was the hottest February ever. January 2016…), and yet have complete faith in a fictitious idea that scientists are PAID to believe in global warming, even though that money does not exist. I am a scientist. If you had good evidence that global warming was a hoax, you’d get a lot of grant attention. But there is no such evidence. The “scientists” who are cashing in are the ones working for Koch and the disinformation companies.

Even if Global Climate Change was an issue, the Republicans would want to deal with it like they do Fire Stations. You would have to pay if you wanted a fire out on your property. If you could prove climate change to a republican, you’d get the rich paying to have their land climate controlled. Most likely to the detriment of all others. All while claiming if you wanted a good climate you’d go out and get a job and pay for it. No – until there is money in Climate Change, republicans will not be interested in it.

Uh uh. They’re not stupid. The real problem is that their brains are used only to rationalize the positions they’ve taken. The contortions that people will go through to justify patently insane positions shows that stupidity is not the problem. Seems more like an internalized wagging the dog.

Bruce4671Some people can’t live beyond the moment. Ice cores and tree rings go back a few thousand years. Also, when the computer repeats a post, go back and delete one. Your echos of corporate lies are bad enough the first time.

I can’t believe some of these deniers’ posts are things they actually believe. The only explanation I can think of is that the Koch brothers must be hiring a bunch of people to work from home posting their nonsense on the internet.

Bottom line:THE EARTH IS WARMINGWE ARE MAKING IT WARMIT IS HAVING MANY NEGATIVE IMPACTS ON USFor all those falsely claiming there is no science of global warming, or claiming that it is somehow corrupt or fraudulent, or for those who simply don’t know enough about it:The Consensus Project: Part of what makes the finding so compelling is that virtually every scientist on the planet studying related subjects are finding convergent results: the planet is warming in a way that is not in line with expected solar cycles, and the primary reason is the increase in greenhouse gases produced by human beings. This is also why the “fraud” claimers are so hilariously wrong — not only because there is NO FRAUD, but because even if there were, what about the other 80,000 scientists?http://theconsensusproject.comReal Climate: This is a scientific site used by actual climate scientists sharing information, discussing articles in the media, and debating aspects of global warming research. This is hard-core! And the scientists here make their data public.realclimate.orgNASA maintains a site showing current findings:https://www.facebook.com/NASAClimateChange/?fref=tsNational Geographic has been monitoring the impact of climate change, and has their usual spectacular pictures making it very, very clear.Fast Facts: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/12/1206_041206_global_warming.htmlSummary news page: http://environment.nationalgeographic.com/environment/global-warming/The National Center for Science Education has expanded its remit not just battling creationists trying to kill evolutionary science ins schools, but those trying to kill the science of global warming:http://ncse.com/climate

NPR today ran a story on a tribe of Choctaws in Louisiana that are being PAID to move because of increased sea level. The shore has receded, the low-lying lakes that once had paths between are permanently connecting, and houses are now on stilts to prevent flooding. And for those who think they see no change because the tides are always the same, all around the world, I suggest they stand on the “beach” at the Bay of Fundy!
