My grand father told me that his grandfather’s family came to the United States to get away from a theocracy, so they did not have to practice the ruler’s religion or be drafted to fight in wars that made no sense to the average family. My great-great-grandfather would probably be shocked to see that there are Americans who crave state’s rights over a united nation and theocracy over a representative democratic republic. He would also he confused about the way Christianity had been distorted from its original tenets.

“1. The first Christians rejected personal ownership of property and engaged in a redistribution of wealth.2. The first Christians didn’t like big, show-y church stuff.3. The first Christians didn’t warn anyone about hell.4. The first Christians weren’t patriotic.5. They were universally pacifists.“http://www.patheos.com/blogs/formerlyfundie/5-reasons-why-many-american-christians-wouldnt-like-the-first-ones/

Even rock n roll singers have better morals than Republicons.

And yet, Jesus said nothing about abortion or being gay, and did speak out against divorce. Yet no Christian proposes laws against divorced people. The person who most exemplifies Christianity that I’ve ever known is twice-divorced.

Tolerance Test: Will you let someone other than yourself have consensual sex with your wife?——- No? Then you are intolerant!

Obviously, tolerance without limits is insanity.

You all are slowly being brainwashed to accept what is abnormal as normal.

As a “secular Buddhist”, “metta”, or loving kindness an attitude that is friendly, kindly, or loving, is a good way to go.

It’s also the exact opposite of what’s practiced by today’s hypo-Christians and their hate filled persecution of pretty much all “others”.

They have far more in common with ISIL, as in using massive military machines to slaughter hundreds of thousands of civilians and non-combatants in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria, to “defeat” that lunatic group that’s about the size of the NYPD. That they use less deadly, but just as bigoted tactics here at home, through bigoted laws and religious practices, doesn’t bode well for THEIR version of Christianity. BTW; the vast majority of Musllims also proclaim that ISIL does NOT follow their faith, but “good Christians” he in the US can just ignore that, of course.

This is not framed as a transgender law but as a freedom of religion law. What if my religious beliefs say that people of different races or religions should not marry each other. Can I fire an employee or evict a tenant for marrying someone of a different race or religion?
