Never did understand why folding the corners of a page was called dog eared. Why not cat eared? Looks more like a cat’s ear really.

Most cat ears are perky; I don’t recall seeing one with floppy ears.

My dogs always managed to turn their ears inside out. Sooty, my cat has never managed to do it.

As a lover of books, I never understood why people deface them by bending the corners. I take out a lot of library books, for example. Sometimes it seems that every 5 pages is dog-eared. Why, people? You can’t read more than 5 pages at a time? There is an amazing new invention of the 15th century called a BOOKMARK.

Don’t sweat it, Snoop. Dogs eat books for breakfast! :D
