There are a lot of people who live in fantasy world brought on by their religions which says that if you outlaw abortions, sex education, alcohol, marijuana, assisted suicide, gambling and rock and roll, that people won’t get abortions, have sex, drink alcoholic beverages, smoke pot, commit suicide, make wagers, or listen to rock. Adults have to learn to make good decisions, it’s part of growing up. Prohibiting the things that people like or need never works. it was tried in the 20’s here and it just criminalized most of the country and created more alcoholics. Religions are an infantile paradigm.

Just to elaborate: it’s not about whether women will have abortions, it’s about whether women will have safe abortions. My grandmother did it herself 100 years ago by carrying a heavy sewing machine up and down stairs til she aborted because they couldn’t afford the children they already had. My father told me this.

Hunting for Truth on these gocomic pages is like hunting for a meal in a garbage can.-Moral facts are that God is anti-murder, especially of the most helpless and innocent on this planet=the pre-born humans being sacrificed on the altar of “convenience.”The USSC that opened the door to legalized murder of human pre-born babies, the medical profession that buried the Hippocratic Oath “to do no harm,” and the expectant fathers and the pregnant mothers that chose to kill their child, cannot escape facing the Creator God in judgment.-Medical facts are that abortion is not “healthy” for the mother, there are consequences that harm women after a single or multiple abortions, physical and mental and certainly emotionally. Abortion is 100% not “healthy” for the baby.-Behind the Curtain, “Choice” has current and future costs to those who “choose.”

@disgustedUsing the terms “God” and “facts” in the same sentence is a contradiction.

What is the problem here? If a woman wants an abortion, they can go to their family doctor. If the “clinics” or doctors are not up to standards, then they should not be in business.

The sad reality here @StCleve72 and @fatchance is that you can say the Bible is fiction or God is not real…but that only applies to you and your viewpoint. To others, the Bible is factual (and has been proven to be so) and to others God is real. I am one of those ‘others’. I do not force my beliefs on to you or your family, so why, with your ranting blog posts feel it necessary to force your opinions on anyone…believe what you want, live and let live…we all might just be surprised what happens after we die.

Toughen regulatory standards for abortion clinics is more government regulation, something the Republicans cry about until it comes to something that would help people. Imagine a law that would force regulatory standards for corporations where they would have to clean up their act or go completely out of business? The whole aim of this law is to eliminate the ability of any woman to go into a facility and seek a medical procedure. In fact, what they are trying to do is make certain the procedure will be done in an unsafe environment. This is just another roadblock between women and their right to receive a lawful medical procedure.

You’re wasting your time folks- if you could reason with religious people there would be no religious people.

Texans. They get upset about the destruction of a fetus but have no problem with killing adults and children wholesale.

As roughly 50% of fertilized eggs/embryo never attach to the uterus, and an added percentage of embryo/fetus miscarry and are never born; “God” is the ultimate murderer of those pre-air breathing humans.

As to preventing or reducing abortions from unwanted, or unaffordable pregancies, a first step is castrating all the MEN out to ban abortions and contraception.

I’ve always thought of religion and science as parallel, non-intersecting realms. At one time the US was more religious than it is now and we seem to be undergoing some change. I would like to see representatives that are competent in both the religions and the sciences, not one or the other or worse … neither.

Let’s see, one side says “Kill it” and the other side that says “Let it live” is portrayed as being “Extreme”.

http://www.nrlc.org/abortion/medicalfacts/safety/-National Right to Life is one of multitudes of Pro-Life info sources about the consequences to girls and women after abortions. Of course a young child could know that the consequences for the pre-born baby are 100% DEATH. After pain and terror….-@Kaffekup…I am a great-grandmother of 3 beautiful children, gifts of God. King David wrote about his understanding of God’s love for humans, His creation, and The Holy Spirit inspired Bible passages about how God knows everything about us long before we were even a thought in our parents’ minds. God created the body and the healthy rules for reproduction, one man married to one woman, for a lifetime, and the process is 100% God’s Plan. -Abortion is murder of God’s beloved children, and their souls go to Him and I expect that God’s love will reunite the child with its mother, if she chooses to trust in the Savior, Jesus for her eternity with God and all God’s adopted Family.
