    No longer around. It was a cheap flavored fortified wine made by Gallo. Popular with alcoholics, underage kids, and anybody else who couldn’t afford the expensive stuff.

    Ripple was the cheapo wine of choice in the late 60s, when I was in college…. I don’t remember which one, but either Robin Williams or George Carlin referred to it as “wine that never saw a grape”.
