    Yes, the old fashioned way, kernels in a pot with a little bit of coconut oil in it (okay it isn’t completely old fashioned)!

    Beviek – ‘Redneck Fire Alarm’ – too funny! I often have popcorn for lunch – microwave Pop Secret usually.

    I use a 60 year old steel pot and cook the popcorn in a generous layer of canola oil, and salt it enough to raise my blood pressure 20 points on both numbers. And coat it with high trans-fat imitation butter. Living on the edge.

    Try popping it in bacon fat. It’s amazing. I got that hint from Erma Bombeck.

    @Tony

    Popcorn?

    Yup, frequently! We have one of these and it works great:However, we buy a lot of microwave popcorn from our Grandson who is a Boy Scout, so most of the time we nuke it! We do however, always add additional butter…

    Popcorn? Yes please with extra butter thank you..JP We rarely have popcorn at home. We do however go to the movies about once a month and must get the popcorn. The extra fake butter stuff is also a must. I can feel the arteries clogging with every bite but the movies wouldn’t be the same without the greasy fingers.

    Popcorn? Don’t make it anymore, but there are a couple of delicious store brands I buy. And I have found that the lighter air popped White Cheddar is DELCIOUS!
