Secrets of the TCSTHAFED cast #3: It’s no secret that Scully and Ruben Bolling are good friends. When Bolling named his first strip after his close acquaintance, Tom the Dancing Bug, Scully wanted to borrow Tom as a ‘good luck’ charm for TCSTHAFED. The Bug is his ‘Stan Lee’ (or Alfred Hitchcock, if you prefer), making his cameo at the beginning of each strip so folks will stop looking for him later, distracting them from seeing the day’s joke.
