Sorry to inform you but my own grandparents where nothing like Evie. I’m not sure who’s grandma’s are like Evie. If there is one I like to know and really envy her.
My parents married in 30’s, when I grew up everyone getting older. When I was 20 my grandma was 92 then went home. I didn’t now my mom’s mom I was very young when she died back in the 60’s. My own mom to her grandkids is nothing like Evie even worse that my two adult kids. Hoards money. She is currently still active at 85. Her sister currently 87 when younger was nothing like this with grandkids, her spouse past on this past year. He put her in local carehome two years before he died, reason he couldn’t take care of her due to his health. She has mind and bone problems.

I feel SS has created a unique family. And grandma Evie is one of a kind.

My Grandmother was like that. Unfortunately she died of cancer before she turned 60. Wouldn’t have traded the time I got to know for anything though…
