Our yard is very damp; it’s listed on the assessment as marshland if that gives you any idea. I was looking for a tree to plant in damp, shady places, and the first suggestion was an artificial Ficus tree!
Way back when, my mother went on a trip for 3 weeks and told my dad to water the plants in her absence. She had an artificial plant hanging in the front window, and yes, you may have guessed, it too got watered every day.
But in his defense, he was never told it was fake, so how was he to know!
Sheeesh! Couldn’t find a better looking fake tree then that? Looks like they went over to Charlie Brown’s place and dragged away his old Christmas tree.
