I would imagine if someone had denied making lottery ticket purchases with a credit or debit card, a business might have a ‘no credit/debit card purchases’ policy. Also it costs the business a percent of the transaction for the electronic purchases which come out of the businesses pocket and not the states.

Is there really a place where you can buy lottery tickets on credit or debit cards? In my experience, they are all sold on a cash basis.

Just FYI, gas costs the same everywhere. It’s the extra taxes added by state, city, etc. that account for the price differences.
