What do you think folks? One way to look at it is that Burl gets it wrong, even when he gets it right, and the bus driver will have a nice evening on him. The other way is to see it as assuming he can’t know if the driver will keep it or not, but it wasn’t his to begin with, and karma dictates he should do the best he can. (Or it’s a YouTube prank, and the bill is glued to the seat.) ((All this assumes, of course, that it wasn’t where Burl and Joy were sitting, and he won’t later discover that the fifty he had in his pocket is missing.))
