The way your comment was phrased is inaccurate then. You seem to be blaming violence on the fact that they’re Latinos and or illegals. My point was that anyone could have killed him based on that scenario. It just so happens that they were illegals and Latinos. My point to morechange was that he was making it about race and immigration status when it has much more to do with the fact that they were whack jobs who killed a guy that they got into a fender bender with.
The Arizona law ignored the fact the CONSTITUTION LIMITS “IMMIGRATION CONTROL” strictly to the federal government.
“reasonable suspicion” under the original law to take effect says that my friend who is 15th generation born in “California” would “look” suspicious, while my other friend who works for the Mexican State Department (he returned to Mexico after school) would NOT “look” suspicious as his appearance is very “European”.
It is the RIGHTS of LEGAL CiTIZENS, not “illegal immigrants” that are violated by the Arizona law.
We need some immigration reform and enforcement, but Arizona has ignored the rule of law, and the Constitution, and the courts will have no choice but to find against Arizona in this case.
