Boo! I love fruitcake! I often wonder who started the anti-fruitcake movement. It’s like doing fat jokes. Too easy.
If you have ever had really bad fruitcake, you know how it started. Most of it is really good.
The home-made kind can be excellent (if they’re free from a good home…..)
Reminds me of one Green Acres episode. Lisa Douglas’ hotcakes were so solid, Mr. Ziffel took them and used them for roofing shingles.
