Saddam Hussein was a client of the USA. The USA sold him the chemical weapons that he used in his war against Iran. He also gassed the Kurds. When he was no longer needed and became an embarrassment Bush41 turned on him. Then B41 urged the people of Iraq to overthrow SH. Urging the people of any nation to overthrow their government is a major violation of international law and is a serious federal felony here in the USA. Then B43 and his boss Cheney sent our military into Iraq to capture SH and steal the natural resources that belong to the people of Iraq.
Why are over 300 million people in the U.S. supposed to quiver in fear of a group smaller than the NYPD? Oh, right fear IS the fueld of the MIC, and spending more than the next 13 largest spenders combined on “defense”- against what, a lone wolf like Tim McVeigh?
Is there a point to this cartoon? That we should never travel? That airlines should not allow luggage? That the authorities should watch for luggage handlers wearing masks? That Americans should be imported to work as luggage handlers throughout the Middle East? That Chip was nearing deadline and hadn’t come up with an idea?
