I think Boog is improvising. The exclamation point over Squanto’s head indicates that the actor was not expecting Boog’s line.

I hope the old folks in the audience heard that last part accurately.

I don’t often talk to banjo players, but when I do, I order fries.

Great comedy for children’s play.

I’ve never met an unhappy banjo player.

I’ve been playing tenor banjo since the 50s, & later a 5-string after meeting Pete Seeger at Brown university. I’ve been happy all my life meeting other banjo players, & people who like banjos.

Then I took up bagpipes, & later found out Eddie Peabody also took up bag pipes when he lived in Tucson AZ. Of course one can clear the room practicing bagpipes, make the dog howl, & frighten all the pack rats to the neighbor’s cactus ranch.

I wasn’t aware that Gasoline Alley was in the Catskills.
