OK… first the family informed the newspaper… and then, several days later, the police were notified. Hmmm…

Maybe 3D got tired of living in that ugly house and ran away…

Liz is sporting the ever popular ‘matador’ look today.

‘Morning, VB! Yes, I’d leave that house, too!

    Good morning, margueritem and VistaBill.

Why don’t you like the house? It’s constructed of gingerbread. Look, there’s Hansel and Gretel.

Perhaps 3D disappeared into another dimension, as a result of working on his next generation of film technology, in which the audience is whisked away from their seats, becoming a part of the “flim” they came to watch. Little do they know—they will never come back to their seats. Unfortunately, we may never know whether this works, because 3D failed to find a way to bring himself back to his laboratory. Meanwhile, Tracy, while exploring the lab, might himself be whisked away as a result of accidently flipping some switch, and suddenly find himself facing 3D himself, on the head of pin, in some parallel universe. Then again….. maybe not.

Yes! I see them. They’re in front of the wall with two friends! You’re very observant, Panel-Planner!

I wonder if we’ll get our D’Bucksworth from this new adventure.

Then again, the D’Buckworth stops with Locher and Brozman.

Rightwingmoron the house does resemble her somewhat. By tomorrow, it will look entirely different, I’m sure.

    Good morning, Panel-Panner.

I heard Mrs. D’Buckworth is really cheap. She only shops at the D’Woolworth store.

If the house doesn’t change appearances, how many times do you think we’ll see that drawing in the course of this epic?

I thought “special forces” was handling-must be going too smooth-time for Spacy to screw things up

I guess I’m blind, but I don’t see Hansel und Gretel in that picture. Do you mean those squiggle marks in the stone wall?

Concerning the house, does Locher intend for it to represent a wealthy mansion or a humble cottage?

I was just thinking the same thing, davidf42. However, like the Science Museum, perhaps it will morph over the next few weeks. And maybe the case will change from a ‘missing person case’ to a ‘murder mystery party’.

It looks like they have a basketball hoop on a post on the side of the house. So they MUST be rich!

Is that the D’Buckworth mansion? Or a summer cottage? Or servant’s quarters? It’s awfully small…. Maybe it’s their daughter’s play house?

Isn’t that the gingerbread house where Hansel and Gretel was caught by the witch?

Great looking graphics on the Dick Tracy comic strip today. Really fine Dick Tracy in the first panel and good use of black in framing the Chief in the second panel.

Looking forward to the NEW D’Buckworth story and really enjoying the NEW graphics in the New Dick Tracy comic strips. Great to read NEW adventure strips on the gocomics site!

Simon Penn, what kind of stuff are you putting in your bong? Must be potent! I guess anyone has to get lit up before he starts taking this strip seriously.
