The thing is, the Democrats don’t think like Republicans, with impeachment in the back of their minds all the time. ..But it certainly does appear to be using public finds for political ends.

One had to be blind, deaf, mute, and more than slightly addled not to see where the GOP was heading since the rise of the Tea Party. The mainstream Rs attempted to appease the nut jobs, but all for naught. The inmates are running the asylum now and the presidential candidates with the most influence are as nutty as they are.

Surely you aren’t concerned that the Republicans aren’t going to cheat?
