Most of the obscure bands I liked never became famous. Maybe that’s why I still like them. How about these:
Ford Theatre Beacon Street Union Ultimate Spinach
All three of those bands were part of the so-call Boss-Town Sound out of Boston. There are a lot of others but their names escape me now. I didn’t hate famous bands, I just figured they had enough fans so I listened to the obscure ones instead.

Strawberry Alarm Clock Roemans First Edition
The latter two were ditched by there front men, Tommy Roe and Kenny Rogers, after the front men became famous.

ElDo Disc Golf…..I’m sure it’s a great cd, but Trad Jazz is a bit different.

I prefer even earlier than those. In trad jazz circles I’m what they call a “mouldy figg”. I like the late twenties..the thirties.. the forties. Like the Creole Jazz Band, Lu Watters, Turk Murphy. Most of those on the Stomp Off label. But those are way before your time , I know. But I’m glad to hear from any jazz lover. Nice to talk to you.
