@305buckets wasn’t annoying at all. :) Just thought it technically incorrect atm, Nate thinks its over so he just wants to forget her – better than the alternative (and yes it does seem bleak now). But he doesnt account for what she has to say in this.

Anyways, even if they mess it up now there are plenty ways they might end up later on – even if just for a short while (like her moving school). Would be better than the usual where he just loses. :)

Having added Big Nate: First Class to my list, I now understand that Nate deserves most of what he gets nowadays.

Yay Trudy! So happy to see her! My s/o and I knew all the same people growing up but never met til we were 20, it’s a good thing because it wouldn’t have lasted if we’d met at Trudy and Nate’s ages.

Tbh the main issue in a situation like this is you can´t reflect emotions in their voices, but have to have it in their faces and the way they articulate. And we don´t know if Trudy only heard “it´s over” or the stuff before that – though in a case like that we might get a “whats over” tomorrow.
