Blissful ignorance is one thing, blind stupidity is another. The ridiculous right keeps pointing at the Constitution they’ve never read, let alone the thousands of SCOTUS decisions in two centuries that pretty much confirm they’re spouting pure B.S..
When Ronnie the god, or a Bush clearly stomped mud on the Constitution, they cheered, when Obama actually honors it, they jeer. Mental dyslexia indeed.
yes, I’m sure china and russia have our best interests at heart. russia is already helping iran help assad against the 30 rebels we trained at the cost of a mere 1/2 billion dollars.
How forgetful some are! When President Reagan negotiated and signed the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with Gorbachev ( the 1st treaty to reduce nuclear arms ), he defended his action to his right-wing base saying,
“I think that some of the people who are objecting the
most and just refusing even to accede to the idea of ever getting any understanding, whether they realize it or not, those people, basically, down in their deepest thoughts, haveaccepted that war is inevitable … Well,I think as long as you’ve got a chance to strive for peace, you strive for peace."
