Couch Calhoun's in a meeting, troops. I'LL run practice today! I know, I know! You think I'm too strict! You don't like my "old school" approach! Well, I'm no FOOL, gents! I can see that times are changing! Coaching is DIFFERENT now! You're not supposed to YELL at kids anymore! Coaches have to learn to COMMUNICATE! And we can't over emphasize the way we used to! The point is for you to have FUN! So BELIEVE me, I get it! I know about all these new trends in coaching!... ...and I reject them completely. Line up for wind sprints. RUN! I no longer pity the kids on the cross country team.

Local HS coach had the team crawl the field. It is artificial turf and it was 95 degrees out. Kids lost skin and got 2nd degree burns. No one is pleased. The insane thing is he injured his OWN team! I guess he couldn’t overcome his sadism!

Coach John is such a hypocrite. He always wants these kids to do wind sprints, when 1. He’s not going to do any himself, 2. He has such a fat belly.
