Most people don’t know what it means and ignore it. Drives hostesses crazy. Same people wait until the last minute to respond to ‘Regrets Only’. They are either lazy or waiting for a better offer. My invitation list has been greatly reduced to those who have the courtesy to respond and in a timely manner even if it is “I am sorry I cannot attend”.
